Part of the traditional campaigning in the US is to seek endorsements from organizations, unions, and other groups that share the same values you hold. I have been selective about whose endorsement I have sought through this election for two reasons: as a staffed organizer with New Hampshire Youth Movement, I didn't want the work I am doing on that front to conflict or interfere with my campaign; and I only want to associate with groups that I care about who care about Granite Staters and the quality of our life here in New England as much as I do. I am incredibly honored and proud to list those groups here, and hope if you're reading this, that you look into their work and find ways to get involved.
350 NH Action350 NH Action is the political arm of 350 NH, an organization dedicated to creating a clean, healthy, sustainable New Hampshire. Their work has been pivotal in NH's moves to abandon coal and fossil fuel energy sources, pushing forward legislation to create a robust Green New Deal for the state, and help Granite Staters access fair, equitable energy through community power initiatives. You can find out about their endorsements and their primer for officials to use in their work by clicking here.

603 Equality
603 Equality is dedicated to taking on issues surrounding the LGBTQIA+ community and their rights here in New Hampshire. As someone who identifies as part of this community, it was important for me on a personal level to seek their endorsement. I've also closely worked with the team at 603 Equality for rallies in Concord surrounding the passing of anti-queer legislation during the 2024 legislative session. Of my endorsements, theirs is the one I am most proud of receiving.

AFT New HampshireThe American Federation of Teachers is one of two major unions in New Hampshire for educators. I believe education is the foundation of success and growth, both on a personal and societal level. My life has been impacted greatly by the teachers I had through elementary, high school, and college. I believe every person deserves a high-quality, affordable education focused on the things needed to live in our complex world and the things they care about knowing to build a life that is fulfilling for them. The basis of bringing that education to Granite Staters is supporting those who provide that education, so I will always support the needs of teachers, including better pay, more financial funding for the classroom, and rigorous curriculum regulations based on peer-reviewed knowledge and studies.

NHYM Action FundThe endorsement from the political arm of New Hampshire Youth Movement, NHYM Action Fund, was not a given but one I would have been embarrassed not to receive (considering my C3 work with them as the hub coordinator for the North Country). NHYM is dedicated to the needs of young folks in the state, and has spent the last few years focused on housing and LGBTQIA+ rights, along with education, environmental issues, and passing marijuana legalization, all of which are issues that are close to my heart. Considering the North Country's average age continues to climb year over year, finding ways to encourage young families and fresh adults to stay in the region is something I am deeply invested in.

NEA New Hampshire - Recommended
The New Hampshire chapter of the National Education Association does not do formal endorsements, but they do keep a list of candidates at all levels and offices that they have reviewed the platforms of and recommend to their members. Of the six candidates running for the three seats for Grafton 1, the three Democrats all received this recommendation! Linda Massimilla and Tim Egan are both educators, and teaching is a profession that I value highly. I wouldn't be nearly as driven, curious, or interested in the world if it was not for the teachers I had growing up and through college. Fostering the growth of our children in safe, maintained, properly funded buildings with dedicated teachers who are paid what they are worth as graduate degree holders is a top priority for me.

New Hampshire AFL-CIO
As a working class person myself, and a student of history, I know that we would not be where we are today in terms of workers rights without the power of unions. That is why I am incredibly proud to be endorsed by the New Hampshire chapter of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, one of the largest organizing groups in the country and the largest labor group in New Hampshire. As we continue to see headlines showcasing record profits for companies, hear horror stories like those about workers for Amazon's warehouses, and see stagnation of wages across the board, now is the time to refocus our conversation on those who are working their butts off to keep us going: everyday folks who get up every day and earn a living. New Hampshire is far behind the region in workers' rights, including wages, benefit protections, and more. I care because it's my livelihood to work a full time job. I care because I see and value the power of working together and how it lifts us all up by doing so.
